ASD-"FOTEK" smoke evacuation unit
GENERAL INFORMATION |
The set includes: smoke evacuation unit, replaceable filter, pneumatic footswitch, mains cable |
Synchronization with the electrosurgical unit |
Four-stages of filtration (ULPA technology) |
Variable filter life 18 to 35 hours (depending on the aspiration level) |
Power supply: 220 V ± 10 %, 50/60 Hz |
Dimensions (W/D/H): 280/410/155 mm |
Weight (without filter): 4.5 kg |
The device is designed to remove smoke, vapors from the operating field and neutralize odors that occur during radio wave and laser surgery. Provides effective air purification and excellent visibility of the operating field.
High-frequency radio wave and laser surgery without smoke aspiration is dangerous for both the doctor and the patient!
The use of a smoke aspiration system in conjunction with electrosurgical or laser units to reduce the harmful effects on human health is an international standard for labor protection.
Smoke evacuator ASD-"FOTEK" provides reliable protection of patients and medical personnel from microbes, viruses and carcinogenic combustion products contained in surgical smoke.
Timely and correct use of a smoke evacuator reduces the risk of infection transmission from person to person many times over.
Features of the smoke evacuator ASD-"FOTEK":
- simple and easy to handle;
- portable and compact;
- high smoke evacuation power and quietness;
- filtration with 99.999% efficiency down to 0.12 microns particles;
- automatic filter residual life monitoring;
- smooth adjustment of the generated vacuum;
- 3-port filter design features accommodates a variety of tubing sizes.
The set may include:
- replaceable filter;
- height-adjustable floor standing suction hose holder;
- suction tips and hoses of various configurations and diameters;
- activating device for synchronizing the operation of the smoke evacuator with the electrosurgical unit.
Smoke evacuator ASD-"FOTEK" uses an innovative technology of multi-stage air filtration, the main feature of which is the ULPA air filter - a unique development in the field of air purification. Ultra-Low Particulate Air (ULPA) technology is far more efficient than High Efficiency Particulate Air (HEPA) technology, which has long been the air purification standard for healthcare facilities and sterile rooms.
Comparison of the efficiency of these two filtration systems:
HEPA retains particles larger than 0.3 microns, resulting in a cleaning efficiency of 99.97%. ULPA retains particles as small as 0.12 microns, resulting in a 99.9995% efficiency.
